I'm getting some annoying recurring lag.
The lag seems to be happening in a particular recurring pattern in which the games runs fine for around 2-3 minutes, and then suddenly starts to lag unplayable for around 30 seconds. Then it continues to run fine, and then the lag comes back exactly 2-3 minutes later. I've tried various things to try and sort it out, but I thought maybe it could be something to with my graphics card. I have an Ati Radeon Xpress 1100, which I know is not the best card ever, but it used to be able play BF2142 fine. So maybe is there any settings I should look out for and possibly change? Other than that, I've tried many different things such as updating all my drivers, closing background applications and reinstalling punkbuster, but no luck what-so-ever. Also if theres any other information that you think I should tell you, please just ask. Any replys would be great because I really want to get playing again. Thanks! |

Re: Battlefield 2142 Problems
those are some fairly high temps.maybe you should look at the bottom of that laptop, and see if the fans on it are clear of dust.also be sure the fans are working.
