Two Game crashes ...

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 3200+ MMX, 3D now `2.0GHZ
Memory: 2048MB RAM
VD - NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT

Recently ive installed two new games onto my F: Hardrive, as i have that harddrive specifically for video games. The 2 new games are Bioshock and World in Conflict, i noticed when i first started them i had no issues what so ever, recently after runnning them both again, i heard the noise you would here when you unplug your television comming from my PC tower. SO i assumed that the power was cut off from my harddrive, i checked all my wires but everything was intact. I then ran 2 other games to test this, Those games are GRAW 2 and FEAR MP. both games ran smoothly, so i dont know what the issue is, i dont want to assume harddrive failure. but i also dont know what else to think in the matter. Any support would be appreciated. thank you.
