[SOLVED] In every game, the character can't stop moving right, like the key is stuck.

In every game, the character can't stop moving right, like the key is stuck. Even if I change the controls in the game, use system restore and change my keyboard, the problem still persists. I tried using three games, The Matrix: Path of Neo, GTA:SA and Day of Defeat: Source.

Can anyone guess what the problem is? I'm stumped, I've never encountered anything like this.

u can try to open up a typing program like microsoftword and then hold down a letter key and click back to begining and see if it moves the cursor then reply back here with what happened

Yup, it moves the cursor, how do I fix that?

it is most likely ur keyboard or the port which u plug the keyboard into if it is a wireless keyboard it my have an interfering signal

Hmm.. it's probably the port then. But.. is there any other possibility then that the port is broken?

not broken but dusty and has a bad connection and is ur keyboard wireless o;r not

Maybe you spilt something on the keyboard? - Other than that gamer101 is spot on.

I can't be in a clan battle if I can't play..

Anyways, I tried to use a USB keyboard, and I still get the problem.

WOW! That has changed things around, you are using a completely different keyboard in a completely different socket and you still have the same problem, sorry but that is beyond me, I am out!

Hi,

Here's an out-of-the-box suggestion for you: start your system in Safe Mode, and see if the problem still occurs. To start in Safe Mode, keep tapping F8 while it's starting up, then select Safe Mode from the list.

You didn't answer the question about whether your keyboard is wireless or not. Is it?

I realise that. That doesn't answer the question, however. If the keyboard is wireless, he may have wireless drivers installed - and the drivers may be what's causing the problem. But we won't know, unless we know whether he's using a wireless keyboard or not...

try this once go to start\control panel\performance and mantience\system\hardware\device manager the unhook the keyboard and turn the power supply off to the keyboard if wireless the uninstall all the key board drivers then restart your computerand when the computer starts up plug in ur keyboard it should alert u that a new device is found and it should install the drivers try this and reply with what has happened

Nope, I don't have a wireless keyboard, I have one with that purple-type port thingy, and I tried an old USB keyboard, and I still got the problem.

PS: I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, it still didn't work.

By the way, this might sound crazy, but I think something is wrong with my PC, not my keyboard.

You know why? Because if I take the keyboard out of the port, it's still stuck. You think reinstalling the OS might work?
