[RESOLVED] Graphics glitch in Call of Duty?

I have problems in Call of Duty, basically. All the text (and a few objects in the background) seem very glitchy and/or very messed up. I meet the system requirements (not recommendations, though). Here are some screenshots I took of my problem (note: they are darker than when in-game, somehow they just turned out that way.

Have you tried reinstalling the game? Perhaps patching might also work.

Hi,

Please click on "Common Game Issues" in my signature, and follow all the steps listed (including reinstalling, as Van Hel Singh suggested). Post back with results.

Bah.

Okay, as it so turns out, it seems like I actually was missing one part of the system requirements (maybe I just skipped it by accident or something-I don't know) but it seems like my video card is missing a particular function that was required: Video Hardware Transform and Lighting. Well, that was probably the problem. Bah. I wonder if I should return the game, or should I just try playing it without being able to read? Meh, probably just return it. Well, thanks guys. Completely forgot about System Requirements lab.

You'll find that's a recurring issue. If you have some money, it'd definitely be worth investing in a video card upgrade.
