FReeZiNg PrOblEM!!!

hi

i have this freezing problem that happens mostly when i play pc games...Lets say im playing doom3

the first couple of minutes everthing work find but then it starts 2 freeze.it freezes for about a minute the it goes back to normal and couple minutes later it freezes again

nd so on..after a while it says micrsoft library +++ error(something like that)nd now ir freezes until i restart it...does any1 know what the problem nd hw to fix it???

I tried evrything but it stil freezes

...i think it has somthing 2 do wit my upgrade to vista because wen i had xp it worked great

then i upgraded to vista and thats when it started to freeze... so maybe thats the problem...CAN YOU HELP ME

just to make sure.you have tried reinstalling the game right?ive played doom3 on vista with no issues.also do you have the few updates that are available for vista?

(nd i did uninstall and installing it again) doesnT HelP....
nd what u mean about vista updates??

I know it's step 5 on the list, but it doesn't hurt repeating...

Did you check to see if you have the latest (and hopefully Vista-compliant) video drivers?

good piece of advice there Dregan.i am also gonna say a 7300 is a bit weak for the vista aero.try disabling aero,and see if that helps any.

how do u disable vista aero

open the control panel,then system.on the left hit advanced system settings.under performance hit settings.when the performance options box pops up.hit adjust for best performance.hit apply then ok.the attached photo shows exactly what they should look like.
