IDK its weird??

well first of all i think im having a resolution problem but its only affecting my games like, wow, d2lod, they are stuck in 640x480 and ive tried everything that is in the troubleshooter and also updating the drivers to try and fix this. any help is mucho appriciado porfavor

Hi anunaki, welcome to TSF

Please post your system specs and graphics card driver version number. (See here for the specs we need)

Do any of the affected games have a config program that can be run before starting the game for settings graphics options?

Is this a new problem? Have you made any system changes recently?

Go to Start > Run > dxdiag > Display tab and run the DirectX tests. Any problems listed in the Notes box?

ATI mobility 128 AGP 2x (dell) version 5.10.0000.1028, no none of the games have a config program ive had this problem for a couple of weeks now no problems on dx tests

oh yea btw its a laptop

Man... that card is OLD. You're likely being foreced into a software rendering mode for those titles.

well heres the thing the games worked fine a few weeks ago totally full screen and i didnt make any system changesto affect them so as far as i know i mean they should be working fine... the guy at the computer shop says he can fix it for 15 bucks

Ask him what he thinks the problem is, and we'll fix it for free.

If he's only charging $15 then it's unlikely to be faulty hardware that he's going to replace, it's probably a driver or software issue.

he says he thinks that the video card is not installed or the driver is not installed but im pretty sure since its a laptop it has built on video and ive already updated my adapters drivers
