[RESOLVED] Warhammer - Dark Crusade Error

Hello

I been playing DC for quite some time now, and just today it gave me a very very strange error that I do not know how I got or even why.. or for that matter how to fix ofcourse.

The error itself is that when I try and start the game from the disk or from a shortcut on my pc I get this error (its danish so i translate roughly) "This progam couldent start, because Filesystem.dll wasent found. The problem might be fixed by reinstalling the program"

Ofcourse I dont want to reinstall the game as I will lose my save games and so on. Is there anyone out there who resived the same error and knows how to fix it?

Welcome to TSF.

If the game suggests to reinstall, then it's probably a good idea. Before doing so, however, check in the game directory (where you installed the game to) and in My Documents for a folder called "Saves" or something similar. Make a copy of the folder, then uninstall the game. When you reinstall, simply copy the folder back in, and all your saves will be there.

Thanks for the information about the reinstalling ^^
I remembered by luck I guess, that most pc games has an option to repair from the cd, I ran the repair option and it reinstalled the missing file so its working now :)
