How do I transfer my Sims2 games I have worked very hard at making, to a new bigger computer?

Re: Save Sims Games to new computer

Welcome to TSF.

I'm not familiar with the structure of this particular game, but usually there's a folder called "Saves" or something similar, either in the game directory (where you installed it to), or in My Documents. Simply copying that folder over to the new system should move your saves.

Maybe someone who's more familiar with the game will be able to jump in and advise you of the exact location.

Re: Save Sims Games to new computer

My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 contains all saves, downloads, creations, etc.

It's a good idea to make a backup of the save folders for all your games onto a CDRW, then update it regularly.

Re: Save Sims Games to new computer

This may work:

Use a usb flash drive or a disk to burn the game to. The game is in "my documents" - ea games. First Copy them the source - usb flash drive etc then install the Sims 2 on the new computer and delete the folder 'ea games' in my documents. Paste the new files into my documents and it should work

TO GET TO MY DOCUMENTS:
1.start
2.coumputer
3.my documents
