OS: vista business & xp pro

Cant see LAN games anymore - Vista problem

Hi i have the most frustrating problem and i have no idea how to fix it.

I have 5 pc's (3 XP pro - 2 Vista business) networked together via a workgroup and they all see each other perfectly with no access problems. Now here comes my problem. when i first install a new game on my Vista (HP pavilion) laptop there is no problem with accessing and participating in LAN games on the network, however after about 2 - 3 weeks it just decides that it will no longer see the network games (single player unaffected) even though the other machines can still play the same network games (i have not tested the other vista machine because it needs to be buffed up a bit to be able to handel the OS i.e. vista very resource hungry)

This is seriously confusing because it was working perfectly and no settings or changes have been made (it can still access and share files with the other machines). i have tried reinstalling the games (this has happened with numerous games) but it still does not work.

if anyone has any idea how to fix this please help.

Thanks & cheers
