no panel lights

my fsx 747 virtual cockpit panel lights quit. tried re-install game with no change. no problems with other aircraft. even if i go to 2d cockpit and turn on the panel lights and switch back to virtual cockpit nothing.

Plz post your PC's specs and the name of the game it is your playing.

i am running xp pro sp2, game is flight simulator x standard version. it ran fine since january, registration expired last week.(microsoft glitch) could not re-load game without installing
mskb928080 to allow re-install. problem occured after re-installation.

ok so you are saying the game stopped working after the reinstall of a windows update.i think i would try reinstalling the game.my bad i see you tried that .did you delete the files for the game after you uninstalled it?

yes- took everything out. i even re-installed window between the 2nd and 3rd re-installation of the game.
