BF2 : Special force's launch error!

Hey guy's i recently installed BF2 : special forces and i get this error upon launch.

It says mods/bf2/sahder/lighting sfx not found! check your working directory and sync your shaders

id try a reinstall,and kill as many running processes as possible.

have you tried locating the file on the disk,and copying it to the proper game directory.

Nope i tried a manual and automatic search through the battlefield 2 folder and still no luck in finding the file maybe someone could send me the file I'm missing and see if that fixes it for me perhaps?.

You need Battlefield 2 to be updated past 1.3 before you install BF2: Special Forces
It looks like BF2 is missing some lighting shaders. Getting the latest updates may fix these problems.

I just tried to reinstall the 14.1 patch and it worked for some odd reason probably a patching error.

Thanks for the help anyway keep it up.

I had the same problem, all I did was reinstall the 1.41 patch for BF2 and everything worked fine after.
