All games randomly crashing

I bought a new rig this week and iv been playing guild wars and quake 4, and when playing after about 4hours when i just got my pc everything went into like a major uber lag. my mouse would warp around everyonce and a while, i couldn't click anything, nothing was moving (apart from my curser like i just said) and sound starts replaying the last millisecond of sound before the crash over and over. as soon as i restart my pc everythings fine for another hour or so. I know the problem isn't due to over heating as SpeedFan says everythings fine.

Welcome to TSF.

I wouldn't rule out an overheating problem just yet, but we'll get to that later. Firstly, please click on "Common Game Issues" in my signature, and run through all the steps there. If nothing helps, please click on "Posting System Specs" in my sig, and follow the instructions there to post all your specs for us. Then download Everest (also in my sig), and check the temps and voltages under Computer -> Sensor. Record the idle readings (just after you start your system up), and the load readings (after at least 15 minutes in a game). Post those readings here for us.

Right well the common problems thread didn't help (thanks anyway though ^^)

heres my system spec and in the morning ill get straight onto the whole tempriture thing

We also need to know the specs of your power supply. Take the side off the case and find the label on the power supply - we need to know the brand, model, wattage, and number of amps on the +12V rail.

Is there another method i can use to find out what the power supply is as i think when i take the side pannel off my warrenty is void.

If taking the side off voids the warranty, then we'll have to get the info another way. Where did you buy the PC from? If it was online, check the website, as the specs should be listed there. If you bought it from a store, they should be able to tell you the specs.

I disided to take the side off anyway lol, but its only confused me more.

Brand is Mercury, but whats confusing is it says its a switch power pack or somthing and i can't find a moddel like this on the website with a swich on the back (not a power switch its a three way swich that has A, H and L on) It says its 500w with a 12cm fan and also it says 115V/230V and 10A/15A. Sorry if thats all unclear, i have no understand about what all of this means lol.

After 15mins playing guild wars my motherboard is 37c, cpu 38c, gpu 49c and harddrive 44c after about an hour my gpu went up to 52c im guessing thats the problem then?
