I need help with Counter-Strike Source

Hello, Im new to Tech Support Forum and Im in need of some help:

I installed CS Source onto my computer and shorty playing on a server i get a pop up saying:

Counter-Strike Source: hl2.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0d73b423" referenced memorory at "0x00000024". The memory could not be "read".

Click on Ok to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Clicking on either option closes my game and freezes my computer. I do not know the cause of this.

If its possible to explain to me how I can fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i need help please... i reinstalled Half Life 2 and i still get the same problem.

Help would be amazing

Hi Danny,

Try uninstalling it through steam by deleting the local content and then re-downloading it.

be sure your direct-x,and windows installer is up to date.
