Battlefield 2 error

Ok I start the game and it gets to the splash screen then it goes black and crashes to the desktop. I have updated my graphics card, rolled back to the 84.21 version and it still wont work. I have an Geforce xfx 7900 gtx. Any suggestions?

yes and now it dosen't crash to the desktop, but now whenever I play It will freeze after about 7 minutes and the sound will loop. And I have to restart the computer. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. And installed the latest patch. And my computer isn't overheating. I dont know what the problem could be.

What all is in that PC and what's powering it?

Ok, you filled in the My System boxes. Awesome.

Google for SpeedFan and install that. It'll give you an idea of where your temps and voltages are. I doubt it's BOTH, but it could be one of them.
