Css ishu need help pls !!!

Ok i bought counter-strike source yesterday i finished downloading and installing it but then when i try to play it i get an error message.
when i click continue and play css i get a black screen with a blinking cursor
and if it helps here are the system requirements

even though my computer meets most of the system requirements i'm not quite sure what a DirectX 7 capable graphics card is i'm trying to run this game on a acer aspire 3000 laptop please help me with me problam i want to play css BAD because its a fun game thank you

Im guessing that the whole directx 7 thing is the problem, try it on another PC man.

if your laptop has integrated graphics most likely that is the problem.

Integrated (or onboard) means the graphics chip is built into the motherboard rather than a dedicated graphics card. This is not really designed for playing 3D games like CS and will give lower framerates if it even works at all.

ok got it but is there anyway to fix my problam and get css working on my comp? if there is pls tell me

depending on how much ram you have.adding more could help,also look in the bios to see if you can raise the shared memory for the video.

its easy really if your laptop will allow it.just hit delete just after you hit the power buttin to turn it on.once your in the bios just look around at the settings.you see one listed for video ram/memory see if it will let you increase it.hit what ever key it tells you in there to save,and exit the bios then your done.

Keep tapping the delete key after switching on, while the white text and black background is visible, before Windows starts to load. This will bring up the BIOS options.

some computers use one of the "f" keys for that.try the f1 and f2 keys see if those will get ya into the bios.
