huge cs source bug

ive read alot of forums about how if you change the settings on cs source the game crashes well its my turn now to have problems >.> how can i fix this when ive searched other forums alls people do is ***** so wat is it?

What changes have you made to the settings?

How does the game crash? Any blue screens, error messages, lag or graphical artifacts?

Is the game patched?

Have you tried reinstalling and leaving the settings on default, then changing one at a time until the crash occurs again?

yeah when i lower settings i get the classic message "refrenced memory at xxxx.xxxx. could not be read"
and yes i have done every friggin patch and troubleshooting out there

Redsunx, I used to get that alot also, but since i updated my BIOS drivers in about a month or so, and use the steam support NOT THE ACTUAL FORUMS, the info that comes from steam.
