Which mointor

(Posted this in video forum, figured i'd get a more gaming prespective reply here)

Within 24 hours I will buy one of the following mointors.

I'm only looking at those two

Then this one

Both mointors are within a 10 dollar differce of each other after shipping.

So my biggest question is

Which one would you choose if money wasn't an a issue for either of those mointors.

Hi,

i have just looked at both of them and looked at the specs, They both vary in spec with both good point and it can be hard especially with both of these monitors.

I would go for the CHIMEI CMV 221D Which is the first one.

I'ma call my vote for the mointors netural.

Right now its one for acer one for chimei.

Hi,

I would definitely choose the Acer monitor. It can display more colors (16.7 vs. 16.2) and has HDCP support, which will be very important for future compatibility.

i have one of those acer monitors,and it is nice.it has a bit of light bleed in a very dark place on a game,but not bad though.most if not all lcd monitors have a little light bleed,and ive seen em bleed alot worse than this one does.

Thats a very good point.

I'm leaning acer simply because of brand name as well.

Im my opinion I have had an acer laptop now every year for the past 3 years and they do not give me good customer service and the amount of problems iv had with the laptop in unbelivable. I have had an acer LCD screen for about 4 months and the colour has lost on it and some time it just blinks on and off when im a using my computer, Iv send it to acer to be sorted but they keep cant finding a problem with it, Iv sent it one day and the next day it come just like it was.

I will NOT buy another acer product again i am stuck with them.

I wouldn't be so swayed by just the brand name. I had an Acer PC once and it was the worst piece of junk you could get. However in this case you made a good choice, thats a good monitor.
