Shutting Down

I Installed Call of Duty on my computer. When it gets to the install or play screen, my screen goes black and it resets my whole system. Does anyone know what the problem is? PLEASE HELP!!

Well, system specs would help but it seems to me it might be an overheating GPU or possibly a GPU driver problem. Does it work fine with other games?

I bought the game a few yrs ago. I beat it and uninstalled it. Now I am trying to install it once again and it keeps shutting down at the main menu screen. do you know if the game is compatable with Windows XP? Thanks for your help and your time.
