WoW Crash to Computer Crash

Hi

I had a "critical error" playing wow last Friday I thought nothing of it as happens from time to time. I close down WoW as usual and wanted to complain on Teamspeak =P, but as soon as WoW closed everyones voices on Teamspeak all of a sudden studdered and my computer crashed. Again I thought nothing of it. Now whenever I try to start a game the computer just reboots either immediatly on start up or 5 to 10 minutes after the game is running.

So far Ive updated my video card drivers and even did a system restore back to last wednesday all with no success what so ever.

Thank you for your help.

No but I can check that for you. When I get home.

Also have an update on the problem.

Today the computer decided that crashing while I didnt have anything other than Firefox running was also ok -_-

So the temparature does seem to make sense. Ill be sure to check that when I get home. Thank you for the swift answer =)

Re: WoW Crash to Computer Crash

This probably is the temperature. Open the side of the case up and clean the little dust mites out, dust makes the fan overheat. After try running the game with your case open.

Re: WoW Crash to Computer Crash

I might have found the problem hehe

It just so happens that the Video Card fan has decided...to stop spinning -_-

Thx again for the assist because I wouldn't even have thought to check that since its a pretty new video card and fan.

Re: WoW Crash to Computer Crash

Also ensure that the drivers are correct. I remember one of the recent nVidia drivers caused my WoW to plummet to 5 - 10 FPS after playing it for over 2 hours.

Not sure if ATI has this issue. Then again, could be me and my stubborn little PC.
