zero hour odd error

(yes the game is legit)

Ok erm i just started to play it again and i get this error about directx

"Please make sure you have directx 8.1 or higher and verify that your video card meets the minimun system requirements"

What the hell?

DXlevel, 9.0c
Card: 7600gs 512

Rest of specs = 1gig of corsair ram, 2.2ghz processor AMD64P 3.56ghz, all up to date.

I even got a patch for it, still nothing, is it a registry error? normal generals works fine, just zero hour comes up with this error, dunno why, after many re-installs nothing works, its like my game is broke or something.

All steps have been followed and nothing.

Re: zero hour odd error

a bad registry entry could be the cause.uninstall it yet again delete its files.then open regedit start menu hit run then type in "regedit" hit ok.when the registry editor opens search for zero hour delete any entries for it.word of warning be carefull be very VERY SURE! what you delete is for that game.
when you goto reinstall disable your antivirus program during the install,be sure to turn it back on afterwords.

Re: zero hour odd error

if you have a legit copy that is possibly bad.try to exchange it where ya got it from.or from an online site where ya buy it,and download.then redownload it if possible.
