Game Freezes when Mouse is Moving

This is a weird problem. Yesterday everything was working fine. I haven't installed or uninstalled anything.

Today, when I play Command and Conquer Generals (which I've had, without problems, for several years) or Battlefield 2, whenever I am moving the mouse, the game freezes completely. If I am not moving the mouse, the game seems to be just fine.

I have tried the following:

Updated to the latest driver for my mouse (Logitech G5).
Updated to the latest driver for my graphics card (GeForce 6800).
Ran anti-virus software.
Ran scandisk, ad-aware, and Spybot Search and Destroy.
I defragged my computer.
I re-installed directx.
I re-installed the game Generals.
I have rebooted many times.
I have monitored the GPU temperature (45 degrees).
Speedfan says: HD0:37C.

Box power supply: Dell 305W
Processor: Pentium 4 2.8GHZ
RAM: 1.0GB
Graphics Card: GeForce 6800 (I can't remember how many MB, can't seem to find the answer...its plenty though)
Windows XP

I am running out of ideas....can anyone help?

I fixed it on my own, for anyone else with the problem, here is how:

I found out that XP pretty much has a system restore point for every day. So I restored to a few days before I noticed the problem. At that point, the game worked fine, but the mouse was invisible. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled C&C Generals and the Logitech software, and I am now symptom free.
