sims 2

I installed The Sims 2 yesterday but when i wanted to play it the screen just turns black while i can still hear the music and all. When i press ctrl+alt+delete the screen flashes to normal the second before it minimalizes(but goes black again when i maximize).
I've installed latest driver for my gfx card.

I've got a ATI Radeon 9800 pro
