Bf2 FPS Cap.

Ive recently noticed that bf2 has a 100FPS cap.
In CS:S they more FPS the more u can see them when they come around the corner and such.
So i normally ran my bf2 on HIGH graphics with my 7600GS with 100Scale and no lag but 40-55FPS and i was gettin owned.
I ran it on LOW Gfx with 100Scale and it was capped at 100 the reason why i know its capped is when i tried it on my brothers 7950GT on low it was the same 100fps.

So im wondering if there is a way to turn it off?

Re: Bf2 FPS Cap.

Frankly, getting owned is only a matter of user reaction time unless the FPS count gets below 25 or so. If you can react in 1/100th of a second to avoid being shot, than I would suggest selling yourself to science and making a ton of money or going pro!

Re: Bf2 FPS Cap.

The human eye can't see much past 60fps, so removing the 100fps cap won't do you any good. As gamerman said, if you can react to things in 1/100th of a second, then I need your autograph!

Once you get past about 30 - 40 fps, your performance in game is determined purely by your ability.

Re: Bf2 FPS Cap.

Not sure what you are after here. If you can see people before they come around a corner you must have super-human premonition abilities, or the ability to see through walls.
I think that's considered an unfair advantage.
