well i haven't tried playing the game yet, i'm just looking at http://www.dslreports.com/archive/te...t?s=1189&r=504 that one of the memebers recommended some time ago, just testing my speeds, and i've done a scan with Ad-aware, Xoftspy spyware scanner and avg, i got rid of like 6 things in total. so i've sorta just reviving my computer lol, im' gonna try the game real soon tho, and then i'll post back.

well i've played a bit of aom and i got no lag, and the same goes for gunz too...wow i never knew taking dust of the computer would speed things up lol, i mean the fan is still kinda loud though

Looking at your screenshot, you only have 10.43V on the +12V line, which is below the accepted range of +/-5%. As +12V is used to power the hard drives and graphics card, this could be causing games to lag. Keep an eye on it if you notice any more problems with your games.

Also, if the fan is loud, it might be time to fit a new one. This will help keep the temperatures under control as your current fan may not be performing at its best.

good call koala when i looked at that screeny i totally missed the voltages.that 12v only being 10.43 thats got to be your problem id say your power supply is dieing.look at the "power supply selection" thread link in my sig.

Just before i look at ur sig, i spent another hour (about) cleaning the dust of the in and outta the computer, now my temperatures have dropped about 5 C so now i have a good temp of 24-26 C everything is running real smooth, and i haven't experienced any lag, but none the less i'll check out the power supply unit sig.

Also the power supply unit was the only place i wasn't able to get my vaccum to >_< so he could always be dust slowing it down, remenber i haven't vaccumed like this in like 2-3 years, and thats alot of dust with 3 fans circulating.
