Upgrade Help!
I have an Emachines T2385 Model computer, and i was wanting to upgrade my video quality by buying a video card. what size should i get 128, 256, or 512? I dont want to fry the motherboard by making it too powerful, but then again i dont want to have little or no effect on the video quality.
any suggestions? I play Online 3-D games such as WoW and it basically skips frames when my character moves. and it looks choppy. just to give a little insight on how the video quality affects my computer usage |

well i went, and looked up this computer.pc world did a review of it,and said it doesnt have a agp slot for upgrading video.they said it had only 3pci slots.so something like this is probably about the best upgrade you will be able to do with it.as far as what you said about it frying your board no card would do that fry your power supply maybe.emachines is kinda infamous for having bad power supplies.you might want to upgrade the power supply as well.take a look at the "power supply selection" link in my sig.
