hello please help me....

I recently tried to play a new game (MX vs ATV Unleashed) I installed and when I open it I get this (picture attatched)

I couldn't take a screenshot because my laptop doesn't have the key. So I just copied it and whipped it up really fast on photoshop. Can anyone tell me what this means?? and how do i fix it??? Im not very computer skilled, but i do know basic stuff needed, please help.........my system details are:

Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Dell Inspiron 710M
Intel Pentium M
Processor 1.70GHz
598 MHz, 0.98 GB of Ram

Welcome to TSF.

I removed your attached picture, as the filename contained offensive language. Please change the filename and attach it again.

When you get the blue-screen, there should be some more info up the top, such as:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA
or something like that. If you could tell us what that says, that would help.

Also, run through all the steps listed under "Common Game Issues" in my signature, and post back with results. (Make sure you follow every single one - don't skip any.)

hi, sorry about the file name, i re-named and attatched it:

i did not see any other messages on the screen, i copied it word for word..........

i did one of those scans, this is what my actual system specs are:

Now what do i do? Those steps in your sig i dont quite understand, i dont know which drivers i have etc.???

I'm assuming the file is Lzx32.sys and not 1zx32.sys. It's a rootkit infection. PREVX.

Do you have a legal copy of the game you're trying to play?

no i was planning to use a downloaded version, because i was unsure if it would work on my system

If you don't own a legal copy of the game, then I'm sorry, but we can't help you.

When you download anything illegal, you run the risk of downloading malware as well. I suggest you buy a legit copy of the game, and you'll probably find it works fine.
