Blue Screen [moved from hardware]
Ok, i was just playing WoW, and i got two blue screen errors back to back.
The first one was DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Stop: 0x000000D1 (0xB9F40000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xB9ECE1FA) and then i got another one without a message just the stop error. STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC000001D, 0xBA2B4854, 0x80556150, 0x00000000) I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this? |

Hrm....... i usually write down anything important. For the first error message, i also copied down
Cmuda.sys Address B9F40000 Base at B9E17000 Datestamp 44892a1b Cmuda is a soundcard file.... so im guessing the errors i have been getting have something to do with my soundcard. Last edited by Tempestshade; 01-21-2007 at 12:26 PM. |

Follow Dai's instructions on updating your driver.
then Check your device manager for any yellow alerts: Control panel>system>hardware>device manager..then click "view"..then click "show hidden devices" Post your complete specs, including your power supply [take the side off for the info], how many cooling fans are installed. On the software side - list your antivirus/malware/adaware/firewall programs, and then when you last cleaned out your case.

Pentium 4(Presscot) 2.8Ghz
MSI 865PE Neo2-S (MS-6728) (5 PCI, 1 AGP, 4 DDR DIMM, Audio) 1Gig ddr RAM(2x256, 1x512) EVGA Geforce 7800GS Enermax 460W Power Supply Thats my specs. I only use Nortan, and for malware/spyware/stuff i use Xoftspy, Spyware Blaster and Ad-aware SE Personal. Another error message PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA 0x00000050 and it said the file involved was kmixer.sys Last edited by Tempestshade; 01-24-2007 at 11:36 AM. |

Uhm....... ive never had problems before, just when i play WoW. I can play oblivion and Fear easily with no blue screens(much more demanding than WoW). |
