[SOLVED] Rome:TotalWar cannot create save files

I recently installed Rome:TotalWar on my computer (ver. 1.0). The program appears incapable of autosaving. When i try to manually save, it gives me an error message: "Could not create the save file on disk". Every other aspect of the game runs okay. Any ideas?

Hi,

I've heard of this problem before. I can't remember what the solution was, but I will have a look around for it. In the meantime, run through the steps under "Common Game Issues", and see if anything there helps.

hey guys ya i got the exact same problem...i downloaded a digital purchase of the game and its driving me nuts and my game crashes every now n then u get the problem fixed dude?
