Is it me or is BF2142 ranking system slow?

Hey, i got BF2142 for Christmas and I've been addicted to it but sometimes i go over the experience point for the rank above me for example... I'm a Lance Corporal Sliver and my experience points are 1142 and the experience for the next rank Lance Corporal Gold is 1050 so why isn't my rank going up? Ok i will be onist i tried the Orange text exploit where you can change the size and colour of your font in the file.

my documents\battlefield 2142\profiles\global.con

But i took it off now it was slowing my connection to the master server i thought but i never really had any problems when i took it off anyway.

the ranking is slow it took like 3 weeks to update my ranks on bf2.

The ranking system is on average a couple hours slow. I receive all medals etc. a few minutes after I met the requirements and rank advancements will normally kick in the next day.
