Exp. Issue
I bought an expansion for The Sims 2, but when I try to install it it says "You must have The Sims 2 installed on your computer" which I do. I'm assuming it's because I installed The Sims 2 on my D: drive, which C: is the default drive for my computer.
Is there a way to get it to acknowledge that The Sims 2 is installed on my D: drive? If I need to install The Sims 2 on my C: drive, can someone tell me how to uninstall it? Going to Add/Remove Programs doesn't work for uninstalling The Sims 2, and going into The Sims 2 folder and clicking the uninstall doesn't work either. Is there a program that'll do that? |

No, I'm saying it won't let me. I have The Sims 2 installed under D:/Programs. When I put in The Sims 2:Nightlife (the expansion I'm trying to install) it automatically detects whether or not The Sims 2 is installed, and it's saying it isn't. C: drive is my computer's "main" or default drive, but I installed The Sims 2 on my D: drive because I have more room there.
