WCIII hardware acceleration problem

If I put hardware acceleration all the way to the right the game runs fine except the mouse moves very slow in the game. If I move the slider for hardware acceleration to the left the mouse is fine but the game seems choppy like when I move units they don't move smoothly. I don't know if this is just a trade off of using hardware acceleration but if there is a way to fix it I would be very thankful.

I don't know if my comp specs are needed to fix this problem but here they are (i got these from Belarc Advisor, idk the details of my comp hardware):

Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
AMD 64 x2 5200+
Board: ASUSTek Computer INC. NODUSM3 1.05
1984 Megabytes Installed Memory
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE [Display adapter]

I have read that there are problems with the dual core processors and have installed the ms patch, amd drivers, and dual core optimizer.

your graphics are onboard, but that should be fine for WC3 so that probably isn't the issue. When you turn your hardware accel all the way up so it runs smoothly, it makes your mouse move slowly. Try going into control panel>mouse and turn up your mouse acceleration and see what happens. If it is an aftermarket mouse with it's own utility, turn up acceleration in that instead of control panel.

i finally ended up resolving the issue by installing modified drivers from a site that tweaks and improves nvidia drivers to make them perform better. :) thx for the answers guys, (i also lowered the resolution in game because i guess my card wasnt liking the high res)

Well I'm glad to hear it! Was it Omega drivers?
