Halo PC Refresh Rate

Hello. I want halo to run on a higher refresh rate. The default refresh rate is 60Hz for every resolution. I was wondering if there is a way to force halo to a higher one like 75? I think my monitors highest is also 60. Its a 17' LCD flat screen. So can I force halos refresh rate higher if my monitors highest id 60?

LCDs don't have a refresh rate, so you don't need to worry about that. Just disable V-SYNC in the game's options.

LCD displays don't improve when you increase the refresh rate the way CRT monitors do. 60Hz is the standard for LCDs.

When you enable VSync (vertical syncronisation), you limit the game's framerate (fps) to match the refresh rate of the monitor, so a 60Hz monitor will play games at a maximum of 60 frames per second without any graphics glitches.

Disabling VSync allows the games to run at over 60 fps, if the card is fast enough, but this can cause problems like flashing polygons and screen tearing because the graphics card and monitor are out of sync.
