Do you know the make/model of your graphics card? Go to Start > Run > dxdiag > Display tab, and post back with the details under Device and Drivers so we can find the correct drivers for you.
The 2 most common graphics cards are ATI and Nvidia. Follow these links for drivers and instructions if you have one of these cards. http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...a-drivers.html http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...i-drivers.html Also, have you installed DirectX? You can test to see if it's working properly in dxdiag > Display tab using the 2 Test buttons.

'Video cards' and 'graphics card' are different terms for the same thing. Unless you mean a video capture card. Another term is onboard graphics, which means the display is controlled by a chip on the motherboard rather than a dedicated AGP/PCIe card.
Go to Start > Run > dxdiag > Display tab, and post back with the details under Device and Drivers so we can work out what kind of display device you have and then find the correct drivers for you.
