Mistake Slow Jerky Games

Hi people
This is the deal:
  • I have Windows Vista RC1
  • I have 2gb of RAM
  • I gots an ATI X600
  • Creative Audigy 2 Sound card with 5.1 Surround speakers

But the problem is, Whenever i play a game (Worms 4 mayhem, or SWAT 4) i always get jerky play and it is very hard to control (it is like offline lag almost)
Can any1 help?
Thanks

(i posted this somewhere else before realising i was in the wrong place)

Make sure you have the latest Vista drivers for your video card. Note that Vista is not yet at the full-release stage, so there are still quite a few bugs in it. Have you played the games on the same computer, but on XP? If so, did they lag then too?

Do you have problems with any other games, or just those two?

I have got the Latest drivers now and there is a very slight improvement but still quite unplayable at times.
I have run the games on a different PC entirely with W-XP and they run fine.
And to add that these two game are the otny ones i have as the computer is only lesss than a weeks old.
Thanks

from what i hear it runs fine on XP and doesnt run good on vista, this is due to Vista as mentioned before not being a final release and shown in tests, vista is sucking for gaming.

i dont think thers a solution unless u ninstall winxp

Hi, just a side note here, i think that, along with the buggyness of RC1, your graphics card might not be able to cope with the pressure of Vista and Gaming at the same time, this could be the cause of the lag, but i'm not 100% sure as i haven't tried an RC personally on my machine, all i know is that Vista is a hell of a graphics hog and running games on top of it isn't gonna be cheap.
