Gunbound crashing

A few years ago me and a few friends started to play Gunbound, and at the time it worked fine. I had a Radeon 8500 and never ran into problems. But ever since I upgraded to a 9600XT a while back the game has always crashed my computer when I've tried to play (I've tried probably 15 times over the past couple years to play and same thing every time).

I'm wondering if it might be a problem with the drivers or maybe just something in my system since I upgraded everything all at once.

Hi,

Run through these steps, and post back with results. Also, please read "Posting System Specs" in my signature, and post the specs of both your old computer and the new one.

Alright my system specs are

AMD Athlon 64 3500+
ASUS A8V Deluxe VIA K8T800Pro
2x512mb Corsair ram
ATI Radeon 9600XT 128mb
Maxtor Diamondmax 9 80gb / Western Digital Caviar 80gb
Windows XP Professional

My old system was a P4 2.4ghz, 512mb ram, Radeon 8500 64mb. Don't remember specifics beyond that, but it ran fine.

As for those steps, I've attempted to play this game multiple times over the past 2(ish) years with everything being up to date, tried multiple times to reinstall but it always freezes, usually before I enter the actual game while selecting a game to join. I got into a game recently on a fresh windows install after updating drivers and stuff, but the graphics were horribly messed up and made the game unplayable, and then it caused my system to freeze shortly after.

All other games I've played have worked perfectly fine except this one, and I play a lot of games.

Did you get a new power supply with the new computer, or are you still using the old one, either way, would you be able to give us the details of your current power supply (link in my sig).
