Bf2142 Ports

K.. yes I got another EA game.. :S....

K my question I experience a bit off common lag on bf2142...
i have a hardware firewall...
so what ports do i need to forward to my pc???...i not servering...

"K"...First i have the game installed with the patch on 2 different machines, my "work" PC has a pentium 2.0 w/768mb RAM and a nvidia fx5200 agp card w/norton antispam 2005 and i let the game decide what graphic specs. I know they are set to low but the game is smooth and easily playable w/out any glitches. If you have a superior machine, i would say your infected w/spyware or a virus or a bad video driver.

Not exactly sure if this is what you are after, but this is all i could find.

In order to play the Battlefield 2142 demo online, you must have the following ports open in your firewall.

TCP 443 TCP 17475 UDP 27900 UDP/TCP 29900 TCP 80 TCP 4711 UDP 27901 UDP 1500-4999 UDP/TCP 1024-1124 UDP 29900 UDP/TCP 27900 UDP 16567 UDP 55123-55125 UDP/TCP 18000 UDP/TCP 18300 TCP 18510

Now the qustion is that are the all for.. 80 = http... thats all i know so what ones do i really need??

add all of the udp/tcp ones and try it. if not just add em all not that much work ;)

usually the xxxxx ports are needed so 16k 18k and 20k
