Downloaded problem!!

i downloaded battlefield 2142 demo and when i installed it, it gave me this problem..

What site did you download this demo from?

Try moving the files to c:\ or c:\program files

PLEASE REFER TO SOLUTION GIVEN BELOW.

Sorry, I didn't read carefully enough.

You need to download DirectX 9. You can do that here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

This should help.

dm01 got it right. That is a DX9 file and once DX9 is installed, it will work....but you probably already know this since you posted 29 hours ago and DX9 only takes minutes to d/l.

yea i downloaded it,but i have a problem still...
:i installed it and when i enter the menu it works fine, but when i want to go to options,this black screens comes up and i have to wait like 30seconds to let it come up again,{it also happens when i click anythng on the menu},im thniking its my graphic card:not sure? :(

did u try to uninstall and reinstall bf2142 ? also is it the same dx error message as before ?
