Need Help With Halo CE or Halo Custom Edition

Hello!

Halo CE works absolutely fine for me except for that fact that everything moves slower. The frame rate is not slow, the game does not move slow, the jumps are prolonged, I run slowly, the vechicles don't accelerate as fast and the bullets come out of guns slower. If I shoot a rocket it moves at regular speed. I'm running on a nVida 6800 and a 3 ghz processor. Regular Halo does not have this problem. This problem occurs on the map called Hugeass. I haven't yet tried anyother maps.

thanks for you time,
Richdoe

I have Halo: Combat Evolved on my PC with the specs below and nothing seems to run off. How is your Custom Edition modified?

Hugeass is one of the biggest Halo maps. How much RAM do you have? Try a smaller map and let us know how it goes.

Actually, Just after I posted that request I tried it and it worked fine. I'm not really sure what went wrong I didn't change anything about my computer though.

When I tried it and it ran slowly, I had just been trying to install halo custom edition. I didn't know it was already installed, so maybe that had an effect? I had also JUST integrated the hugeass map into the game.

So thank all of you very much for your help, I am very pleased that I only needed to wait a day for someone to respond.

Thank profusely for your time,
RichDoe

User Profile?

I can't seem to play Halo Custom Edition. It installed fine, but when I try to create a new profile (like: New 001) it wont let me, so I can't play at all. This is very confusing. anyone know how to help?
