7950gx2 problems with warcraft 3

I have geforce 7950GX2 with latest nvidia drivers, when my computer has been on for an hour+ it starts to make wc3 wicked skippy and impossible to play. Restarting the computer makes it run fine, but I only have this problem with wc3 and not with other games (hl1,oblivione,homeworld). Heard the latest drivers are unstable but the earlier ones don't work with this new card. Help appreciated/

I also have,
amd athlon 64X2 dual core 4600+ 2.41 ghz
2 G RAM
running windows xp with sp2
directx 9c

i just put into the calculator your
cpu
v/card
ram
and it comes out at 401w+30%=521w
and that does not include whatever else you have on your computer
your supply should be sufficient but not by the margin you thought you had
i will move you to gamers to see if they can pin point something

The 7950GX2 is like a single-card SLI setup. Have you checked for patches that may address this issue? WC3 came out well before SLi did, or at least this version of SLi.
