Graphic glitches since I installed GeForce 7600 and game crashes
Ever since I installed my GeForce 7600 some of my games ive been playing have been having glitches in its graphics here are some examples:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...rettes/***.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...tes/glitch.jpg Also my games have been crashing lately also Btw I believe I have all the latest drivers for my GeForce 7600 GS, the Nvidia site is a little confusing for me on which driver I choose from, if someone could tell me what the lastest Driver is for GeForce 7600 GS that would be nice so I could just double check. If re-seating the card doesn't work, post your system specs. What I need to know mostly is what your power supply is. When you have your side over off, report back the make, model, and all the power information on your power supply. If you can, take a picture of the lable and post it here, that would be easiest. Also, download sensorview in my signature, install it, and report back the temperatures of your system while it's just sitting doing nothing and after you've had a game playing for 10 to 15 minutes.
What sounds like to me is either your power supply is inadequate to power your new power hungry card or your new power hungry card is getting really hot because there isn't enough cooling in your case......or both!

you definatly should upgrade the PSU.
350w is an absolute minimum for your system. I would recommend somewhere around 500w and up and a quality brand name with more then 20amps on the +12v rail. 16amps on that rail arent sufficient enough to power everything. look for a company like coolermaster or sylverstone. Thermaltak makes also quality PSU's and if you need any hints on what to buy i will post some links later.

PSUs are easy to install. Make a note of where the connectors go from your original PSU and match them up to the new one.

CPU temps are WAAAAAY out of this world!! You need to (inaddition to a new PSU) cool that puppy down!!! Clean any dust out of the inside. Buy more fans and install them where your case allows. Also, just in the mean time, try opening the side of your case and place a desk fan blowing into it. See if this makes any difference with the temps. You really need to cool it down. That is also part of the problem.
