Battlefield 2 Refuses to Detect Video Card (I think.)
Despite the fact that other games (Like Doom 3) seem to run beautifully under my lovley new 512 MB Radeon X1600PRO, Battlefield 2 still clunks along as if the video card wasn't even there.
This struck me as odd, especially considering that the reviews at newegg say that this card works great for BF2. " Sure enough, EA's Easy Info says "The compatabilaty of this device is unknown. Further information is needed" when regarding my driver. The only other thing I think I may need to point out is that I had to install this from a virtual DVD. Would this affect driver detection in any way? Thanks in advance!
