Incredibly Strange Latency Issue
Ok so this is a problem i just recently found out was a problem.
First of all i have Dial-up, which is weird because the Latency IS NOT (or appears not to be) a connection issue, read on. It's with Warcraft 3: The frozen throne only when i play arranged team here's what makes it strange: *1v1 Solo- no big latency issue *2v2 Arranged Team- MASSIVE ONGOING LATENCY *2v2 Random Team- no latency issue *3v3 Random Team- no latency issue *4v4 Random Team- no latency issue *Small Free for All- no latency issue Custom (non-melee)- no latency issue *all these are official ladder matches Additionly, once me and my arranged team partner were messing around and both searched for a 4v4 Random Team Game and ended up in the same one on the same side and had no latency issue in that match either (for anyone familiar with online gaming but not with battle net a solo is a 1 vs. 1 game, Arranged Team is a team that you pick to play with, while random team is all random partners on your team.) I dunno about anyone else but i find this highly unusual |
