World of Warcraft Installer...

Hey, I was recently installing World of Warcraft and on the fourth disk, it froze at a file named 'Logo_1024.avi...'. I have tested it with different disks, yet, they all freeze at the same spot. Anybody have any clues? Oh, and I had WoW running on this laptop once before, but it won't reinstall for some reason... Please help?

When you say it "froze," do you mean your whole computer froze or the installation froze?

If it's the latter of the two, I have experienced this often as well. Blizzard provides utilities and alternate installation methods. I have found the best way, though, is if you know someone who has the game already, copy their folder directly onto your computer and it's all set to go, no installation or huge patches to sit through!

Hope that helps!

Thanks!

Not sure if it would work, but I just built a new computer with a kickass video card, 1TB and 4GB RAM and it is running WoW orgasmiclly. Now, to test it on my alienware again...
