Re: Guild Wars

Hi Justin and welcome to TSF!
When you say you are having ping issues with your computer, do you mean it's running slow in general or just Internet-related?

Re: Guild Wars

thnx for the welcome buddy! yes i mean the internet itself. my computer flys off the net. but when i try an download even the smallest file an play the simplest game my ping use to be around 150-250 tops same with ventrilo. now ive been seeing anywhere from 1000-20000 pings an its unbearable to play. I like to download music an such an now it will take hours instead of seconds or minutes. its a frown of a thing. ive been useing the same setup for months an never had a problem an im not sure of what has been installed on my computer when im not home cause my brother started to use it now i have him blocked completely. but i have tried scanning with avast antivirus home edition up to date an Tune up Utilities 2009. I have no clue what it is.

Re: Guild Wars

Both the ipconfig and line tests look good. Are these slow Internet speeds affecting all the computers in your network, or just yours?

Re: Guild Wars

Ok, sounds good!
Was the wireless channel being changed in both the modem/router and the router?
