Team Fortress 2 Voice Source problems

Hey there forum dudes!

I just bought Team fortress 2 for the PC, and i have a problem with the microphone. The thing is, i have two possible sources for input available by my sound card (external SB audigy NX). The one is of course the microphone input, and the other one is for the line in. The thing is, when team fortress 2 launches, the game automatically selects the line in input as the voice input for the game, which of course does not work since i cannot connect a microphone to the line in port. The problem is that even if i alt+tab out of team fortress and change it back manually to the microphone, the game automatically sets it back to the line in after i join a game.

Is there any possible solution to this?

Thank you in advance
