Hello, great forum. I've been searching for an answer for this for about 3 days now with no luck. This is in reference to COD WAW on PC. Tried port forwarding, disabling firewalls, etc.
Here are my specs: -Windows XP Pro SP 3 -Intel dual core processor @ 2.70 GHz -4 Gigs of ram -NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS I'm behind a lynksis WRT54G router. I'm using an Airlink 101 300N Wireless PCI Adapter. My ISP is SBC. When I try to join online games, it hangs at the "Setting up game..." screen. My computer will remain there until a new round begins, then I automatically enter the game. At least that's what I think is happening. Like I said, I've tried port forwarding. At the moment I have 20800, 20810, and 28960-28970 open. I've tried disabling both my windows firewall and my router firewall. I also read somewhere to disable the "block anonymous internet requests" feature on my router, which I also tried. I'm also running AVG Free and Ad-Aware in the background. I just tried exiting both programs in addition to putting down my firewalls and port forwarding with no results. Any suggestions? Last edited by Vgamer1; 10-13-2009 at 06:18 PM. |
