Which version of Punkbuster is installed? Did you install it from the game CD or was it already on your computer? Have you tried updating it to the latest version? Have you tried playing with it disabled?

You don't need to uninstall PB, you can simply use the "disable punkbuster" button in the server list. you will need to restart the game afterwards.

You don't seem to understand.
The server does not run punkbuster, the client (you) do, so it does not matter what server you go on, there will be the same amount of hackers as the punkbuster runs on the client's computer and can disable it at any time. You can disable it, you can still play on your friend's servers and you will have the same threat of hackers as if you played with punkbuster enabled.
