Shockwave Games not working!!!

Please help me!

I was playing games on shocwave.com just today. I randomly decided to get rid of some clutter in hopes of speeding up my pc so i Downloaded and ran ATF Cleaner. I also allowed some windows updates. I restarted my computer and BAM just a black box comes up everytime i try to load a shockwave game [IN FIREFOX]. So i said maybe it's just the browser's fault so i tried with IE. no black box, just a msg saying I need to update my flash player.

I tested both my shockwave and flash players and both are installed fine. i uninstalled and reinstalled them and still nothing. For some reason i also cannot check my hotmail in firefox :S. my inbox opens but nothing happens when i click the messages.
What's the problem. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hello and welcome to TSF.

You mentioned that your flash player and shockwave (they are different software) is installed fine but you did not say if it was up to date. Try to update flash player and shockwave player.
Also ensure you have the latest versions of the internet browsers, and perhaps try another browser such as Opera, Chrome or Safari.

I would also reccomend using CCleaner (found in my sig) instead of what you have.

When using CCleaner, it would be best not to use the registry function; using programs to clean the registry can actually do more harm than good.
