Call of Duty 1.1 online Help!!! Plz Spl1ff:>

If any1 can help me with this i will owe you my life :D
Ive played Cod1.1 for about a year on the same computer with no problems.

1 Day i'd finished playing and shut down normally.When i came back to load the game the 1st thing i noticed was no sound on the menu/opening page.
Then when i got onto a server (no problems), the grafix were totally messed up plus still no sound.
The grafix (i.e the buildings,ground,fences,etc) look like a grey and black framework (like when u glitch/or go outside a maps boundries and any fences/ramps that you can normally see through appear as solid objects but people still can see me and kill me :( .So i totally Uninstalled COD and wiped the Cod file, and reinstalled.This made no difference at all..Its an original copy of cod so i dont understand. I even went as far as fdisk/wiping my whole drive and reinstalling again..no difference. Today i loaded it onto a friends computer...guess what exactly the same???:S
How can this be..unless COD has added another pk3 to the original game and now mine is obsolete i cant get my head round it!!

Please if any1 has had the same problem or knows how i can fix this let me know .thnx alot Lee..in-game ....Spl1ff:>
