X-box live conenction.
Hi all
Last week I bought an X-box 360 with fable 2 and it is awsome. But i wanted to download some DLC. When I tried to connect to internet there was no problem, I downloaded the new menu. But when i Wanted to create an X-box live account by pressing join x-box live, I needed to fill in my e-mail adress and then press continue. I did that but when I pressed continue it sayd connection failed. I went to test conenction and i tested it. It Seemed that I can connect to the internet but after the etwork logo you see an x-box live logo and when it is loading.connecting from internet to x-box live it stops and says that i cant connect to x-box live. I tried the info thing but that didn't help. Anyone how i can get on x-box live and creating an account? Greetz from Holland, Steven |

Re: X-box live conenction.
Ports need to be open to connect to Xbox Live. What is the make and model of your router?

Re: X-box live conenction.
If you have a seperate modem, ports may need to be opened on it. If you do have a seperate modem, what is the make and model of it?

Re: X-box live conenction.
There are Sweex modems that also work as routers.
Try connecting your computer directly to the Sweex modem, then try to follow the guide below, but for forwarding in the Sweex, don't worry about creating a static IP, just use the WAN/Internet IP that is displayed in the status page of your other router. http://www.portforward.com/english/r...x_Live_360.htm
